  • What do you do, and who do you help?

At MDS Homes, we help people turn their ideas for a home into something real. We specialize in custom and thoughtfully designed homes, working with homeowners from the early planning and design stages through construction and completion. We help clients create homes that aren't just beautiful, but are designed around the way they live, the property they're building on, and the things that matter most to them.

  • What advice do you have for future homeowners?

Start with the big picture before getting caught up in the finishes. Think about where you want to live, how you want to use the home, what your budget looks like, and what features will actually add value to your everyday life. The planning stage is incredibly important, and having the right team involved early can help you make better decisions before construction begins. A great home starts with a great plan.

  • Tell us about the Grand Vista Hau

The Grand Vista Haus was designed as a retreat that brings together mountain character and modern luxury. Located with Teton Valley living in mind, the design uses natural stone, warm wood, large viewing windows, and layered textures to create a home that feels connected to its surroundings. With three primary suites, a cozy loft, a ski room, a large butler's pantry, and generous gathering spaces, the goal was to create a home where family and guests could truly settle in and enjoy being together.

  • What makes a home like the Grand Vista Hau special?

It's the combination of thoughtful design and the way all of the details work together. Features like the large windows, covered porches, 11-foot hearth, three-car garage, ski room, and multiple primary suites aren't there just to look impressive—they're designed around how people actually experience a home. We believe great home building is about creating spaces that feel natural, functional, and personal, while still taking advantage of the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
